About Us

Since 2008, SDYHA has served as the premier outdoor youth mentoring service in the Black Hills. The purpose of SDYHA is to instill in young people a lifelong enthusiasm and respect for the outdoors, hunting, fishing and conservation. Our program focuses on hunter safety, ethics, respect, wildlife conservation, habitat, access and landowner relations. Donations and financial contributions of all sizes are greatly appreciate and help make the SDYHA program 100% free to all participants.

When donating to the SDYHA Wildlife Banquet, we guarantee your money will remain right here in the Black Hills region. We are dedicated to making a difference in the local wildlife habitat, conservation and our SDYHA participants.
